Frederick was baptised on 12th May 1898 at St Nicholas, Warwick. At the time his parents were living at Coten and and his father was a joiner.
In the 1901 census Frederick is living with his parents at the Oak Inn, 27 Coten End and Harry is recorded as a Licensed Victualler. Also in the household is Elizabeth Eales (73), Sarah’s mother and the former landlady of the pub (in the 1891 census, Elizabeth was living with Sarah at 27 Coten End and Sarah was the barmaid).
On 12th January 1902 Harry and Sarah’s second child, Beatrice Annie, was christened at St Nicholas.

In the 1911 census, Harry, Sarah and Frederick are living at 65 & 67 Coten End and Harry is recorded as a Fish Frier on his own account. Beatrice seems to be living with a Mr and Mrs Perkins at 43 Guy Street.

The 1914 Spennells Trade Directory does not list any Westleys in Warwick. It lists 65&67 Coten End as the premises of Wm Benbow, florist, fruiterer etc and The Oak Inn as being the residence of Wm Sismore.
