George’s father, Thomas Brooks, was a Blacksmith and his mother was Ann Elizabeth.
George was part of a large family, most of whom were born in Banbury. He was born in the final quarter of 1878. His older brothers were William (b. 1871), John (b. 1872) and Frederick (b. 1877). He had one older sister, Ellen (b. 1875) and a younger sister, Annie Sophia (b. 1892). Completing the family were two younger brothers – Thomas Arthur (b. 1887) and Albert (b. 1897).
The family lived in the Packmores area of Warwick – in 1891 they were at 30 Paradise Street, in 1901 at 28 Vine Lane. At the time of the 1901 census, George was living at 16 Draper’s Field, Coventry as a Boarder. He was an Iron Moulder.
George’s father Thomas died in 1910.
In 1911, George was living at 28 Brooklyn Place, Packmores with his mother, Elizabeth (64) and younger brother Albert Harold (19) who is described as “feeble minded”. His occupation is again shown as an Iron Moulder.
George married Lillian Frost in 1917. At the time of his death his wife was living at 395 Stratford Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham

GEORGE PINFOLD died aged 40 from broncho-pneumonia at 5 General Hospital , Rouen. Dearly loved son of Mrs Pinfold, Packmores, Warwick.
