Date of birth: 1891

Parents: Alfred Joseph and Sarah Ann Goddard (nee Tebbutt)

Address: 28 Market Place

Occupation: Annealer at tinplate works

Harry’s parents, Alfred Joseph and Sarah Ann (nee Tebbutt), were married in January 1886 at All Saints church in Warwick, at which time his father worked as an iron moulder.  Harry was baptised on 25th June 1891 at All Saints

Despite searching, we have found very little information regarding Harry and would welcome any additions or amendments to the following:

We have found that Harry’s brothers Alfred Charles (born 1886) and Walter (born 1889) were living with his maternal grandparents David and Elizabeth Tebbutt in Emscote Road in 1901.  Neither Harry, nor his mother are on the census.  Harry’s father, Alfred, was living at 39 Church Cottages, Honily, Warwickshire and is noted as the cousin of the head of the household.

Harry left a will ensuring that his effects to a Miss Ellen Stamps.  This may have been his fiance

We can find no other trace of Harry.  The application for Harry to appear on Warwick War Memorial was made by a Mr A Goddard, probably Harry’s father or his brother
