We know from the 1911 census that he had a sister called Ellen (born circa 1891) and another sister called Ada (born circa 1899).  They were living on the family farm – The Stanks Farm – at Budbrooke just outside Warwick.

George married Edith N Cowley (known as Nellie) in the last quarter of 1916.
