Robinson, Reginald Ernest

Reginald was baptised on 4th February 1894 at St John the Baptist church in Leamington Spa. His parents were living at 52 Grove Place and his father was a grocer.

At the 1901 census, Ernest and Harriet were living at 14 Barrack Street, Warwick with their 4 sons. Ernest was employed as a baker.

By the 1911 census, Ernest and Harriet were living at 43 Quarry Street, Leamington with their 5 sons and a daughter. Reginald, now 17, was their eldest child and was working as a coachbuilder. Leonard (16) was a grocer’s errand boy and Sidney (12) and Arthur (10) were at school. The 3 eldest boys were born in Leamington but the daughter (Doris aged 8) and the youngest son (William aged 4) had been born in Warwick.
The 1914 Spennells Trade Directory lists Ernest Robinson at 43 Quarry Street.
