Reginald was born in Chellaston, Derby on 28th June 1905. He was baptised in Chellaston on 20th September 1905.
According to the 1911 census Reginald aged 5 was living at The Grange, Quarndon, Derby with his parents Percival Edward (1878-1954), his mother Edith Eliza (1876-1948), two older sisters, Rosamond aged 10 and Margaret aged 7 and a younger sister Frances 5 months. There were also two domestic servants. Reginald’s father is described as having private means.
Reginald is listed as a student in The Institution of Electrical Engineers Book from 1927-1930. His address is given as The Vicarage, Repton, Derby.
Reginald married Marguerite Woodward (1909-1954) on 24th July 1935 in Little Aston, Staffordshire. They had one daughter also Marguerite born in 1936. According to the 1939 census the family were living at 47 Walsall Road, Sutton Coldfield and Reginald’s occupation is stated as an electrical engineer.
Reginald is buried in London Road Cemetery, Coventry. His wife Marguerite died in Warwick in 1954 aged 45.

Reginald was one of the many civilians killed in the Coventry Blitz. This item in the Coventry Evening Telegraph, 2nd May 1941 was the only notice we have found of his passing (see last paragraph)
